With Commercial shareware license, Photo Album Studio can be used by the professionals or businesses who have a client or customer base and need to provide personalized catalog services of their digital pictures.
For example, if you have a photo processing lab and/or provide digitizing services of paper pictures to your customers, you can use Photo Album Studio to create nicely created picture catalogs that can be easily viewed on your customer's PC with excellent presentation. After you collect the digital images of your customers (by scanning or from provided storage media), you can use the Photo Album Studio to create and build a catalog. After you build the catalog using Photo Album Studio, you then burn the catalog on to a CD-R and deliver it to your customers. To view their digital pictures your customers will use the Easy Album (RM) viewer application that gets packaged on the CD along with the picture catalog that you produce using Photo Album Studio. Your customers do not need to install any software on their computer. Only software requirement on the PC is the presence of a web browser (now a days every computer has this pre-installed) with Java support, such as, Internet Explorer 4.5 (or higher) or Netscape Navigator 7.0 (limited support for 4.5 or higher). Since the catalog is produced using HTML and JAVA technology, your customers are not limited to view their catalog on PC only. They can view the Photo Album Studio catalogs even on Macintosh, Unix or Linux computers as long as they have above mentioned web browser installed. It does not stop there only. There is more value add for your customers. The catalog that you deliver to your customers is web enabled. It means that the same catalog can also be uploaded on any web site without any modifications to be shared on internet.
You may configure the end user experience with Easy Album (RM) using various combinations of following options:
- Web Enabled Catalogs (catalogs can be uploaded and viewed on the internet)
